I checked in via the app and went in to get my 2.5 year olds first ever haircut. I was so excited and when we went in the woman who was assigned to cut his hair was absolutely RUDE. Desiree was her name & she has zero customer service skills. She asked would my son be sitting by himself or with me. I told her that this was his very first haircut so we would have to see if he would sit by himself. He wouldn’t so I got in the chair & sat him on my lap. I begin to explain how I wanted his hair cut while she looked at me annoyed & kept checking the front waiting area. She tried to put a cape on my son (after having ZERO interaction with him) “hey buddy” “I’m gonna put this on you so we can cut your hair” ANYTHING would have been better than nothing. I told her I would do it & she gave all of about 20 seconds to try before asking us to get out of her chair & get him comfortable up front. I was confused but agreed and as soon as we got out of her chair she walked to the front and called the next person waiting into her chair. At that point all chairs were full so now we would be put into a wait (which I wanted to avoid & why I checked in on the app like they ask) We put the capes up & walked out with the woman never looking back. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. She clearly did not want to cut my child’s hair.

This is the second time in a row that I've walked in, instead of calling ahead, and allowed chance to decide who cuts my hair. As fate would have it Layla was the first available stylist each time, and I'm glad that she was. Not only is Layla a great stylist, who pays very close attention to style your hair meticulously as requested, but she is extremely personable and a great conversationalist! There are very talented stylists at this Sports Clips, many of whom deserve equal praise in a review such as this; but I wanted to take the time to highlight such a delightful person with professionalism and skill that will keep you as a return customer. Layla, thank you for the great service!
